There are different types of disease that can threaten your hydroponic garden. However, plant pandemics in a hydroponics garden are much less frequent than in a conventional soil garden because there is no dirt to grow bacteria. It is mostly a sterile environment. Plants can be more vulnerable to pathogens if weakened by environmental conditions such as too much shade, extreme hot, high humidity or crowded conditions. You need to protect your plants from nutrient deficiency as well as poor pH level. If you get a pest infestation in your hydroponic garden, the first means of defense is identifying the type of pest.
